Betco® Express® Floor Finish with SRT™ 5 Gallon Pail

Directions for Use

This product is recommended for use on all types of resilient tile flooring and properly prepared hard surfaces.

Restorative Maintenance:
Completely strip away all old wax, finish, and soil from the floor by following the strip procedure on the Betco® stripper label. Ensure the floor is clean, dry, and free from residue before applying the new finish. Rinse with clean water if necessary. Apply the finish in uniform, thin to medium coats using a clean synthetic mop, microfiber mop, or applicator system. Allow each coat to fully dry, typically 10-15 minutes. Dry time may increase with elevated temperatures, thick coats, or high humidity. A minimum of six coats is recommended. Note: This is a self-sealing finish, but for old, worn, or porous tiles, applying 1-2 coats of a Betco sealer will improve gloss and long-term performance.

Routine Maintenance:
Sweep large debris and dust mop the floor. Damp mop or use an automatic scrubber with a Betco floor cleaner. Buff or burnish as needed to enhance gloss. To condition the floor and extend the interval between top scrubbing and recoating, use Betco® One Step High Speed Cleaner/Restorer.

Interim Maintenance:
Sweep large debris and dust mop the area. Top scrub the floor using Daily Scrub SC and a maroon pad to remove the top soiled layers of finish. Ensure the floor is clean, dry, and free of residue before reapplying the finish. Apply 2-3 coats of finish as described above.

Note: Slip resistance meets or exceeds ASTM D 2047-11, with a James Machine 0.5 minimum.
